Soular Mahalia touches on the connections between human expression and the cosmic phenomena that governs our creativity. In the center is a gold painted record with a picture of Mahalia Jackson on top. The gold record represents the soul center of the modern Black American musical solar system. In orbit are records painted in blue and magenta with artists such as Louis Armstrong and B.B King on top, representing some of the popular musical forms that developed out of black gospel music. 

** All artworks are shipped out from Corporate and Museum Frame located in Richmond, Virginia in the United States. CMF primarily uses UPS (United Parcel Service) as their main shipping service. Once the painting is purchased I will deliver it to CMF who will give me their final packaging and shipping quote. Once the quote is obtained I will notify the customer who can pay directly via PayPal. If you prefer another shipping service (i.e. DHL), CMF will still be responsible for packaging but DHL will handle shipping and a total quote will be provided. **
